Before the death of Jesus on the cross, His victory walk to Jerusalem revealed that “HE is the LORD”. He instructed his disciples that if anyone asked while bringing the colt to tell them, “The LORD need him” (Luke 19:31).
All the people praising Him through Psalm 118:26 and saying, “Blessed be the King that is coming in the name of the Lord” (Luke 19:38) when Jesus sat on the colt and going.
Jesus is God, ‘His name is higher than any other name’ (Philippians 2:9). HE is universal LORD as ‘LORD’ word is included in God’s name. He is the King, and in Christ, all are the people of His kingdom.
When we bow our head before Jesus and accept his supremacy, then we receive Jesus as our King in our life. To accept His sovereignty means we are surrender ourselves entirely to HIM. After accepting Jesus as our God, nobody can do immoral work or have abducted relationship with others.
A namesake Christian, who involved in all the corrupt work, once his Pastor complained to him about all his bad practices. But he replied to Pastor that, all things would work, surely I am a Christian, but think that I am a bad Christian.
Dear friends, all of this will never work. In the kingdom of God, all this will never work (Luke 6:43-49). If you think the LORD granted everything, then you are wrong. Our God is so gracious, but that doesn’t mean HE will always allow you to do all lousy work.
Today is psalm Sunday. Are you sure that in your talk and work you are glorifying God? If yes then you can also sing and say along with other that, ‘Jesus is the LORD.’
So, what you want to be a bad Christian or a good Christian? If you follow Jesus and accept Him as your savior then leave all, and follow Jesus’ way.
“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (Luke 19:38”)
